Mer et Littoral is a French association loi 1901. Its purpose is to promote and
develop marine and coastal environment studies and education.
You too could take part in the success of our action. Your help is welcome.
Photographers, you can join in!
You are photographer, your shots represent
uncommon species or species not yet in our photo galleries, they
could enrich the data base of Mer et Littoral, and illustrate one of our
species description.
Of course, your photographs remain your own property and are covered by copyright. They are only used
for the broadcasting on the websites of the association (now in French and in English).
Joining in will offer you a serious identification of your photographs as well as the pleasure to share
with our numerous visitors from all over the world, your wonderful marine and under-water encounters.

Mer et Littoral starts a fund to finance the purchase of a trinocular microscope.
The identification of many marine organisms is often only possible thanks to microscopic observations,
this is an essential device for our activities.
We use a microsope or a binocular microscope as often as necessary; with a performant trinocular
microscope we would be able to take quality photographs that could illustrate in a relevant way our descriptions and our lessons.
This device costs from 600 to 1000 Euros. This is a huge sum and we need your support to help us.
